PRIMAPRODUCTIONS LLC TO DONATE 10% OF ALL ZIPHER SALES BETWEEN THANKSGIVING AND NEW YEAR’S EVE 2017 TO COSMETICS FOR A CAUSE.

Each year between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve, PrimaProductions LLC partners with a non-profit organization that advocates individuality and dignity in women and empowers them to gain skills and confidence to lead happy and productive lives. This year we chose to honor an organization that believes when a woman feels beautiful on the outside, she can begin to gain the inner strength she needs to succeed.

Cosmetics for a Cause was founded in 2012 by Erica Harreveld when she was a junior in high school. She suffered from acne and used different cosmetics and makeup techniques to cover her blemishes. She witnessed first-hand how the use of makeup made her feel better about herself. Erica wanted to help other women and girls gain the same self-esteem. She quickly put her idea into action and Cosmetics for a Cause was given 501 (c) (3) non-profit status in just a few short months.

This beautiful organization helps women in distressed life situations improve their self-esteem (and as a result become empowered and successful) by collecting makeup from cosmetic companies and individuals, and distributing the items to other non-profit organizations that exist for the purpose of helping women in need, women who are searching for employment, recovering from sexual assault, living in safe houses or recovering from illness. Recently, the organization was busy supplying makeup to hurricane victims.

PrimaProductions applauds the young, independent woman who founded this charity. We honor its mission, Outer Beauty/Inner Strength, by donating ten percent of all ZipHer sales during the 2017 Holiday Season to Cosmetics for a Cause.

ZipHer is a product used worldwide by independent women who share in the frustration of zipping up hard-to-reach back zippers. From female politicians to high school girls, from Olympic athletes to the injured or dexterously challenged, from transwomen to women in the military “Zip me up” is a universal call.

ZipHer is unique in its decorative and strong ergonomic design comprised of an elongated hook, a brass ball chain and a faux pearl handle. Elegant hardware completes the look of this made-in-the-USA dressing aid.
